Sensei recently contributed (with a heavy heart) to Callen’s Cause benefiting SIDS research. Callen was a sweet baby boy who passed away from SIDS in April 2017. SIDS stands for sudden infant death syndrome (also know as crib death). It’s when a baby 12 months or younger dies during sleep with no warning signs or a clear reason. Callen’s parents set up this fund to honor their son and fight to end SIDS.

In this episode of The Digital Edge, hosts Sharon Nelson and Jim Calloway talk to Brett Burney about the latest Apple products and how they can serve lawyers. From face ID to the benefits of iOS 11, they share which Apple tools will save lawyers time and effort in their business. They also discuss the top apps that attorneys who use Apple products should download. Check out links to those apps below.
Our very own Sharon Nelson and John Simek received the ABA Law Practice Division’s Robert P. Wilkins Award in Recognition of Overall Achievement in Division Publications.
The award was presented by Dennis Kennedy, the Chair of the ABA Legal Technology Resource Center, who said they were receiving it for “writing a bazillion books and articles for the Division.”
We love to give back here at Sensei! We were very excited to donate this doggy themed basket (see picture) to the Greenspun Shapiro PC’s Spring Soirée which raises money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness! National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Virginia and its volunteers work together to raise awareness and provide education, advocacy, and support programs for people living with mental illness, families, students, educators, law enforcement, and the public throughout our neighborhoods.
