Parents Struggle to Keep Children Safe on Smartphones

June 3, 2015

We get a lot of questions from parents concerned about how their children (and not just teenagers) are using their smartphones. Most of the time, the parents are pretty clueless about what the kids are doing – they use different apps than the adults. And of course they aren't exactly divulging all they do to their worried parents.

Callum Hopkins from TigerMobiles.com was kind enough send me a link to a visual guide that his company created to offer parents advice on safe smartphone use for their kids.

We see way too many phones of young people in our forensics lab – parental involvement in the smartphone use of their children is sorely needed.
