Cyber Risk Management for Lawyers

September 16, 2013

Our most recent Legal Talk Network Digital Detectives podcast is now out. The topic is Cyber Risk Management for Lawyers and we were pleased to welcome as our guest Steven Chabinsky, the senior vice president of legal affairs, general counsel and chief risk officer for the cyber-security-technology firm CrowdStrike. Steve is also is an adjunct faculty member of George Washington University and the cyber columnist for Security Magazine. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Chabinsky had a distinguished 17-year career with the FBI, during which he was the top cyber lawyer, then the head of the Cyber Intelligence Section and ultimately deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Cyber Division.

A lot of credentials Steve – and we still owe you lunch at Famous Dave's. 🙂

Tune in to hear the major threats law firms are facing, how to evaluate and respond to the risks, what lawyers should do if their systems are hacked, and the future of cyber threats and cyber security.

We loved his response at the end of the end of the podcast when we asked him for a one word answer about the future of cyberrisks. The answer might be predictable, but the way he said it cracked us up.

A full rack of ribs awaits you Steve.
