A TRIANGULATED VIEW OF EDD

Always a pleasure to highlight the work of a friend. Rob Robinson has come up with a listing of the EDD top 20, using the results of three key electronic discovery landscape documents, the Sixth Annual Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey (August 2008), the Thirteenth Annual AMLAW Tech Survey (October 2008), and the recent Gartner MarketScope For eDiscovery Software Providers (December 2008). Well worth a look.
It will be interesting to see if the economy topples any of the titans. With respect to law firms, a common prediction is that large, under-capitalized firms may fall – and that this may be the year of the boutique firms. Will that apply to EDD as well? As the owner of a boutique computer forensics company, I unequivocally hope so.
