Here’s the Link: Mistake in Use of File-Sharing Didn’t Waive Privilege

October 25, 2017

It's an old adage: Never let a computer know you're in a hurry.

Yesterday, while scrambling to get to the airport (where my flight was of course delayed by hours), I was moving too fast and forgot to include the link to the October 2nd decision overturning the earlier decision in Harleysville Insurance Company v. Holding Funeral Home, Inc. et al.

I was bombarded with requests for the link, which I have now included above. And folks are right, it is an important decision. If you missed yesterday's post, you may find it here.

I have the pleasure, over the next couple of days, of co-chairing (along with my friend Mark Tamminga) this year's College of Law Practice Management Futures Conference. The theme is Running With the Machines: Artificial Intelligence in Law Practice. More on that to come – and you can follow the live tweets by watching the hashtag #COLPM.
