"Crime-as-a-Service" Becomes A Business Model in the Cybercriminal World

October 2, 2014

Of course, they also use legitimate tools for evil purposes, including anonymizers, encryption and virtual currencies. In a report published by Europol's European Cybercrime Centre, entitled the 2014 IOCTA (Internet Organised Crime Threat Assessment), the "hidden Internet" is described in detail with an eye toward educating businesses, governments and citizens.
