CUPID: A Drone That Tazes You

Hat tip to Dave Ries for sending me a post from Mashable about a drone that tazes you – a natural ally of Google's weaponized robots?
We are not talking about a military grade drone (yet) but a personal drone called CUPID which stands for Chaotic Unmanned Personal Intercept Drone. Thank you, but I prefer love in other forms. CUPID, made by Chaotic Moon Studios, was a star performer at this week's SXSW. The CUPID drone hovers and shoots barbed taser darts at a target, delivering up to 80,000 volts. The CUPID is a hexacopter equipped with a laser sight used to target the remote-controlled taser darts.
In the company's demonstration video, which you can view in the post, CUPID is shown incapacitating a volunteer subject. The company's site currently gives no details about when or if the device will ever be offered commercially.
Some FAA regulation would be welcome here.
