Salute to Craig Ball as He Retires His Law Technology News Column

Yesterday, I was catching up on my work reading while having a pedicure. Yes, it is good to be the boss and do that on company time – the boss does need to be well-groomed, right? And of course I was working! I finally read the February issue of Law Technology News cover to cover and learned, to my dismay, that my dear friend Craig Ball is retiring his e-discovery column.

As editor Monica Bay said, "I want to warmly thank Craig Ball, who is retiring his award-winning LTN e-discovery column after nine years. I know we are all grateful for his wisdom, wit, and passion for our community."

Craig's wisdom, wit and passion for e-discovery cannot be overstated. His columns have been a gift. Right from the beginning, I created a "Craig Ball" folder for the sole purpose of archiving (hanging my head, yes in paper) everything Craig has ever written. That is a "go-to" folder for me.

I hope he will continue to post on his personal "Ball in Your Court" blog. I need the occasional "Craig fix." It is an addiction that I hold dear.
