Technology Assisted Review for Smart People – With John Tredennick

January 6, 2016

It was a great pleasure to interview (on our Legal Talk Network Digital Detectives podcast) John Tredennick, the founder and CEO of Catalyst. We talked about a new book John co-authored, called "TAR for Smart People" (a bit of a giggle at the expense of similar titles "for Dummies"). John is a good fellow to have a conversation with because he strikes the right balance of being knowledgeable and not losing the average lawyer in a forest of geek speak.

John walked us through how Technology Assisted Review works and explained TAR 2.0, which is primarily distinguished by continuous active learning by the technology which results in increased savings in e-discovery cases. You should listen if only to hear John's analogy of TAR 2.0 to how Pandora works. Brilliantly simple when explained that way.
