The Store Aisles Have Eyes And They Are Watching You

February 27, 2017

In a very interesting CBS News video, Joseph Turow, a professor at University of Pennsylvania and author of "The Aisles Have Eyes: How Retailers Track Your Shopping, Strip Your Privacy, and Define Your Power" discusses how department stores, supermarkets and other brick-and-mortar merchants are using technology to track our buying behaviors. But are they basically spying on us and using the information to their advantage? Of course they are. Scary stuff with some good tips for protecting your privacy in store aisles.

Hat tip to Dave Ries.
