Trend Micro Launches The Internet of Everything Threat Intelligence Resource

July 2, 2014

I got an e-mail today from Trend Micro yesterday saying that it has launched The Internet of Everything Threat Intelligence Resource.

For those catching up, The Internet of Everything (IOE) enables us to connect and share with others and the Internet through a multitude of devices, including home objects, appliances and wearable technology. Many people don't realize these devices are vulnerable to attacks and threats from cybercriminals.

The new resource is designed to educate and inform Internet users about these threats. The site will include blog posts, infographics and real world attack scenarios showing how cybercriminals are using IOE vulnerabilities.

No doubt about it, self-driving cars are certainly on their way to us – and just as certainly they'll be hacked. Murder someone by hacking their car? Very likely.
