WHAT MAKES A DRUG RAID A BLAST? WII BOWLING! STRIKE!

September 25, 2009

I talked earlier this week about how video evidence was becoming more and more prominent as a form of electronic evidence. Just to prove my point, we now have video evidence that police officers from three jurisdictions in Polk County, Florida – on a drug raid no less –  spent 9 hours playing Wii bowling. With all sorts of cavorting and jumping up and down when they got strikes, it was apparent that taxpayer dollars were hard at work.

I'll bet they wish now that they'd looked around and found that home security system camera before they so profoundly embarassed their departments. So how much does this tomfoolery go on when there's no video camera to bear witness?
