Where is Cybersecurity Going in 2015?

February 4, 2015

Nice post from ZDNet on what we can expect to see in the cybersecurity world in 2015.

It includes a list of the top data breaches from 2014, the President's recent language on cybersecurity from the State of the Union Address (doesn't get much more prominent than that), and predictions for the coming year from leading authorities.

Top predictions for the hottest trends?

  • New attack vectors and platforms
  • Evolution of existing cybersecurity solutions
  • Internet of everything and critical infrastructure
  • Mobile technology
  • Encryption and privacy

One can argue about the order, but those would probably be my top five picks too. Which makes me glad that I proposed doing an Internet of Everything for Lawyers CLE to my friend Tom Mighell. The CLE will be on February 9th with ALI-CLE. You can find the details here.
