ABA TECHSHOW 2021 Rocked the House!

Though I missed the heck out of seeing my ABA TECHSHOW friends, I am in awe of the amazing programming that stretched over five days last week. The creative skills of the ABA TECHSHOW Board, co-chaired by Roberta Tepper and Allan Mackenzie, were extraordinary. You can listen to Roberta and Allan talk about how they overcame the challenges of suddenly finding themselves compelled to go virtual in a Legal Talk Network podcast here.

As a former ABA TECHSHOW chair, I know how hard the Law Practice Division staff works every year to support the conference, but the extraordinary kudos showered on them by Roberta and Allan demands a salute here!

I loved the combination of 30 and 60-minute session and the broadening scope of topics compared to previous years. Being able to watch the sessions I missed for the next 30 days is a bonus. The platform was excellent and easy to use with only very small hiccups. I can’t imagine all the testing that must have preceded the conference.

Just as the pandemic was an accelerant to moving the practice of law forward, it seems to have been an accelerant to developing a new kind of ABA TECHSHOW.

Warm congratulations to all for a job well done! And like everyone else I spoke with during the week, here’s to seeing everyone in Chicago in 2022!
