IP Address of Your Smartphone Made Easy

Every device that connects to the internet has an IP address. The router that connects to the internet has a forward facing IP address and you are probably connecting to the router’s Wi-Fi network. Every device that connects to the Wi-Fi network has a unique IP address too. But how do you determine what IP address is assigned to your phone? The process is pretty easy. Tech Viral has a post with the details, including screenshots.

If you are an Android user, go to Settings, System (may be called Phone Information) and select the About Phone option. Tap the Status option to see the IP address, MAC address and other information. If you are an iOS user, go to Settings and tap on the Wi-Fi option. Select the network that you are currently connected to and you will see the address information.
