Don’t Break a New iPhone – Huge Repair Costs

September 20, 2018

If you paid a thousand dollars or more for an iPhone, you would be pretty ticked if the cost to repair a broken one was the same as buying a new iPhone 8. Well that's exactly what Tech Viral uncovered. The new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone XR have a very expensive surprise. The post identifies the high cost of repairs. The highest prices are presented with the iPhone XS Max, with a screen exchange costing $329 and other damages cost a mere $599 only. Seriously? $599? The price to repair "other damages" is the same as the cost of a new iPhone 8. Another quoted cost is the repair of the iPhone XS Max, which is $150 more than the current purchase price of an iPhone 7.

Another reason not to use an iPhone. Keep the money in your pocket and not in Apple's off-shore accounts.
