Firefox Update Challenges Chrome

Mozilla has released a new version of Firefox that is twice as fast as the previous version and 30% lighter than Google's Chrome browser. The new version is called Firefox Quantum. Mozilla stated that this is "the biggest update we've had since we launched Firefox 1.0 in 2004." I've been using Chrome for a lot of years and have to jump over to alternate browsers on occasion. It seems that web developers still want to use elements that Chrome blocks. When I have to use another browser, the first one I select is Firefox. I must admit, the new Firefox version is fast. Noticeably fast. Mozilla may have done something good here and could take back some of the market share lost to Chrome.
