Bixby Early Preview Available for Samsung S8 and S8+

If you have the latest Samsung S8 smartphones, Bixby is now available for early signup. You'll need to go to Samsung's website and enter your e-mail address. Bixby is Samsung's voice assistant. It is intended to compete with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. The feature I'm most looking forward to is language translation. Point the camera at words (e.g. street sign, billboard, store front, etc.) in a foreign language and activate Bixby. Bixby will then translate the words in the captured image to a language of your choice. Think of it as a camera version of Google translate. It should be pretty cool and I'm looking forward to trying it out as we travel to foreign countries.
