Tool for Mac Users to Migrate from Evernote to OneNote
August 24, 2016
A lot of Evernote users are not real happy with the new pricing model. The free version only allows syncing across two devices. Most Evernote users I know need to sync data across three or more devices. It will now cost them $34.99/year for 1GB of data or $69.99/year for 10GB to sync across all devices. Microsoft is hoping that the pricing plan will help drive folks to OneNote. To help that along, Microsoft has released a new app called the OneNote Importer tool, which provides Mac users the ability to move all their saved Evernote items to OneNote automatically. In order to use the tool, you will need to be running Mac OS X 10.11 or higher. Once your data is imported to OneNote it will sync across all devices including PCs, iOS devices, Android devices and the web browser.
