Samsung Announces a Surface Pro Clone

January 12, 2016

Competition is a wonderful thing. I've always been a fan of two barracudas in a tank. Enter Samsung to the fish tank. At CES 2016, Samsung unveiled a Surface Pro clone called the Galaxy TabPro S. It runs Windows 10 Home or Pro instead of the Android operating system like previous Tabs. It's a 12-inch device with 2160 x 1440 Super AMOLED display, 2.2GHz sixth-generation Intel Core M processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB SSD, 5-megapixel front and rear cameras, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMO Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, optional Cat. 6 LTE, GPS and GLONASS and 5,200 mAh battery. The best part is that it comes with its own keyboard case. No price has been announced yet, but this could certainly give Microsoft a run for its money or at least force Microsoft to include the keyboard in the price as it should have from day one.
