Internet Explorer Finally Killed Off

July 14, 2015

For some reason Microsoft has been trying to breathe in new life to IE for the last few versions, but no more. Usage of Firefox, Chrome and Safari have soared as users and developers are tired of dealing with IE’s proprietary technologies like ActiveX and Java versions. Well, there is now an official nail in IE’s coffin. Microsoft will release a new browser called Edge with the release of Windows 10. Edge doesn’t have the baggage of IE and adopts much more of the modern HTML specification. IE 11 will still be included in Windows 10 as a transition aid, but Edge will be the default browser.
