A Low Cost Alternative to Acrobat Pro

We have always recommended that users, especially attorneys, obtain a copy of Adobe’s Acrobat Professional. The major reasons for the recommendation are the flexibility in PDF creation, redaction ability and Bates numbering. There is now an alternative that will give Adobe a run for its money. Our friend and colleague, Bob Ambrogi, has an excellent blog post, where he discusses the abilities of Nuance’s Power PDF Advanced. At one third the cost, it is certainly a worthy alternative and has many of the functions of Acrobat Pro. There is now a very affordable option for the solo and small firm market.
