Determine Document Page and Word Count

If you are a Microsoft Word user, the page count and word count automatically show up in the lower left hand corner by default. But what if you are a Google Docs user? It’s still pretty easy to get the word and page count in a Google document, but it will take a few clicks. Select the Tools choice in the upper menu and then click on the Word Count option. As an alternative, you can press Ctrl+Shift+C (on Windows) or Command+Shift+C (on macOS). A dialog box is presented that shows document statistics such as Pages, Words, Characters and Characters Excluding Spaces.
