Extend Your Wi-Fi Network Reach for Less Than $20

November 5, 2018

Not happy with your Wi-Fi coverage? Unless you’ve installed multiple routers or are into mesh networks, you probably have some dead spots where you wish there was better connectivity. Not a problem. You can install a Wi-Fi extender to increase the wireless range. Jump over to Amazon and get the NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700). If you click the coupon box, the $5 coupon will bring the price down to $18.99. Note that the EX2700 model is for the slower 2.4 GHz networks. Spend a little more money for the EX3700 model if you want 2.4 GHZ and 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi coverage.

You plug in the extender to an electric outlet near your existing router to perform the initial configuration. Once configured, just move the extender to a different electric outlet where the signal is weak. The extender connects to the existing wireless network and then creates a second, amplified network.
