Google Checking Website Security

More and more websites are improving security in light of the increasing number of data breaches. You may not have noticed it, but Google's Chrome browser is helping too. Google has released developer tools for Chrome that help assess the security of a website. Developers can open a panel to determine how secure the network connection is. It's another reason to begin installing a digital certificate and requiring HTTPS connections to your website. Google will rank secure websites higher in the search results than less secure ones.
