More and more organizations are moving to the cloud. For most small and medium businesses, the cloud can provide better security and reliability than can be provided by on premise solutions. That's not to say that everybody should shift to cloud services. Having data access and control in your own hands is certainly a better security model than giving over the encryption keys to a third party provider.
