It’s Easy to Ditch an iPhone for a Galaxy S8
May 2, 2017
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a wonderfully engineered device with a curved infinity display and unbelievable screen resolution. The fingerprint reader is crap, but who cares if you don't use it? iPhone users are seriously considering whether to jump over to the "evil" Android device or be a "sheeple" and wait for the next generation of iOS device. If you are tired of waiting, Samsung has a tool to help you migrate from the iPhone to the Galaxy S8 and transfer all of your precious data.
The first step is to utilize a bloated piece of software called iTunes. Make a backup and then download and use the Samsung Smart Switch app to import your iTunes backup data to your new Galaxy S8. Just select the iTunes backup as your import source. Follow the prompts and select what data you want to restore. You have the option to transfer such items as contacts, photos, notes, text messages, etc.
