Updates for Google Docs and Sheets on iOS and Android

January 30, 2017

Google is rolling out an update for Google Docs and Google Sheets for Android devices that provides more options for editing documents. Android users will now be able to insert and edit headers and footers. Users can also drag and drop text anywhere in a document. The update also has new photo editing tools to rotate, move and resize images. In addition, users can adjust text wrapping and border style of an image.

iOS users get new Google Doc features as well such as the ability to insert headers and footers, the ability to insert page numbers within a header or footer and the ability to change the size, orientation and color of a page in Docs. iOS users of Google Sheets can now insert and edit a variety of borders. Be sure to visit the App Store or Google Play if you haven't received the update yet.
