Craig Ball on Special Masters in E-Discovery

John and I were delighted to welcome once again our dear friend Craig Ball on our most recent Digital Detectives podcast on Legal Talk Network. The topic was "Special Masters in E-Discovery" – Craig has been a Special Master in Texas so often that he was the perfect guest to discuss how Special Masters are appointed, what their functions are, and how they use their powers to untangle the discovery mess that generally prompts their appointment.
As always, Craig is witty and eloquent. We had asked him to join us after hearing his presentation on the same subject at the InterMountain E-Discovery Conference in Salt Lake last month. We are always amazed at how little attorneys seem to know about Special Masters, so this was a great opportunity to share Craig's expertise.
