EDna, Meet Ernie: Tom O'Connor Posts a New EDD Challenge

My friend and EDD colleague Tom O'Connor read my recent blog post about Craig Ball's EDna challenge and let me know that he has created a counterpart: The Ernie Challenge.
I'll let you read the details of the challenge for yourself, but the essence is this: Is there a way to process and review a couple of hundred GB of data for no more than $10,000?
Take a look – there have been a lot of contenders who say they've met the EDna challenge – are there any who can meet the Ernie challenge? Leave your comments on Tom's blog and he promises to report back on the results.
