ONLAW TRIAL TECHNOLOGIES FOUNDED BY BRUCE OLSON

June 2, 2009

Readers of this blog may know Bruce Olson as our co-author of The Electronic Evidence and E-Discovery Handbook (ABA, 2006). He is also a long-time friend and colleage within the Law Practice Management Section of the ABA.

I was delighted to hear recently that Bruce is forming ONLAW Trial Technologies, LLC. The website (not yet up) will be located at http://www.onlawtec.com/. The new company will provide turnkey trial and litigation support for electronic trials, including the use of TrialDirector and/or Sanction, the procurement of equipment, setup, etc.

It will also provide e-discovery services in which Bruce will assist small and medium-sized law firms in developing plans for handling EDD issues on a case-by-case basis, helping them decide which tools to use, vetting the vendors, handling RFPs, looking for the best means of storing data, and so forth.  He'll also be providing expert witness testimony in electronic discovery and in electronic records management.

He will be working with various computer forensics experts as subcontractors (this is where I jump up and shout to him "Me! Me! Me!"). And lastly, he'll be doing software design and devleopment work for various litigation applications.

This boy really knows how to keep his plate full. Best of luck Bruce!
