SENSEI ENTERPRISES, INC. WAS A LIVE STREAM SPONSOR OF THE GUBERNATORIAL DEBATES

The Virginia Bar Association and PBS Newshour provided a live stream of the first gubernatorial debate held on July 20 at The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, also the site of the VBA’s 123rd Summer Meeting. Sensei’s principals Sharon D. Nelson, Esq. and John W. Simek were in attendance.
This was the first face-to-face debate between Ken Cuccinelli and Terry McAuliffe, each of whom hope to be Virginia’s next governor. Judy Woodruff, senior correspondent and co-anchor of “PBS NewsHour,” moderated and began by stating that The Virginia Bar Association appreciated “PBS NewsHour” and the live stream sponsors for their help in bringing the debate into homes across Virginia. Sensei Enterprises Inc. was one of the live stream sponsors.
Debates involving candidates for statewide office have been a feature of the VBA Summer Meeting since 1985. By sponsoring debates, the VBA seeks to educate the public about candidate views and to stimulate voter interest and participation in the elections process.
