Sensei Sponsors Online NSAI/VLF/VACLE Benefit Concert

Come join the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), the Virginia Law Foundation (VLF) and the educational division of Virginia CLE® (VACLE) for a one-of-a-kind private, online benefit concert series to help support some of Virginia’s worthiest law-related not-for-profits, while also restoring some joy, some normalcy, and something special to look forward to during these challenging and turbulent days.
The benefit concert will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm ET, and will feature one of Nashville’s most acclaimed, entertaining, and recognizable performing songwriters – Kent Blazy.
Before the show, watch the optional Encore CLE ethics seminar from the 45th Annual Recent Developments in the Law 2019 program, led by Bar Counsel Renu Brennan.
Kent, along with Garth Brooks, co-wrote the colossal #1 hit “If Tomorrow Never Comes”, which shares a message that becomes more universally relevant with each day that now passes. Other hit songs from Kent include “Ain’t Goin’ Down (‘Til the Sun Comes Up)” — Garth Brooks; “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song)” — Chris Young; “Somewhere Other Than the Night” — Garth Brooks, just to name a few.

Please know too that the VLF share of the net proceeds will go entirely toward funding grants to some of Virginia’s worthiest not-for-profits. In 2019 these organizations included the VCU Health System’s Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP); The Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley’s Victim Services Project; and the Virginia Poverty Law Center’s Annual Statewide Legal Aid Conference.
For those of you wishing to receive 1 hour of Ethics Credit prior to the concert, Virginia CLE® is proud to introduce their exciting new discounted Encore CLE initiative.
For a total of only $85 Virginia CLE® will offer a package of an hour of Ethics CLE plus the concert that follows! The CLE program begins at 6:00 pm ET on May 15, and though not live-interactive, this pre-recorded streaming replay of Bar Counsel Renu Brennan’s Ethics seminar from the June 2019 45th Annual Recent Developments in the Law 2019: News from the Courts and General Assembly nonetheless provides essential guidance for legal professionals , summarizing recent developments in professional regulation.
Topics will include Revocations, Misconduct Suspensions, Public Reprimands, and Public Admonitions.
