Zoom Virtual Backgrounds

Many of us are working from home and starting to suffer a little cabin fever. The usage of Zoom has skyrocketed since the arrival of COVID-19. One of Zoom's features includes changing your background to present any image you want. Normally I wouldn't recommend allowing virtual backgrounds in Zoom since it could be abused by participants to transmit inappropriate content. However, using virtual backgrounds today could help bring a smile to your meeting participants as we struggle with our new normal.

Sharon and I love to cruise. Perhaps it's my maritime background. Cruise lines have shut down their operations for the time being in order to help stop the spread of coronavirus. Let's hope that operations will resume in the coming months. In the interim, the Royal Caribbean blog by Matt Hochberg has posted a link to a dozen Zoom virtual background images showing various cruise experiences. The images bring back some great memories.
