Automatic Line Numbers Available for Google Docs

Lawyers rejoice! It is now a lot easier to add line numbers to a document if you use Google Docs. As mentioned in a Verge post, Google Docs has released support for automatic line numbers for a section, page or the entire document. Google users will no longer have to use Microsoft Word (automatic line numbers has been supported for some time) or install a third party app to automatically number each line in a document.

To turn on the automatic line numbering, make sure you are in paged mode by going to File -> Page setup -> Pages. Adding the line numbers is accomplished by going to Tools -> Line numbers -> Show line numbers.
