Sensei Gives Back

We are committed to our community

For many years, Sensei has contributed to the Virginia Law Foundation, the Fairfax Law Foundation and the Fairfax Bar Association. We also sponsor the Virginia CLE seminar and concert series among other events and causes.

We’re proud to donate to organizations including the Capital Area Food Bank, Jazz for Justice, Langley Residential Services, the Chipping In to End Domestic Violence Golf Tournament, the Lamb Center for the poor and homeless in Virginia, a professional clothing drive, books for the probationary house for boys and girls in Fairfax, Virginia, the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), and Toys for Tots.

We also make individual contributions to causes we’re passionate about, like Sharon’s donation to the Fairfax Law Foundation in memory of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

John serves on the board of the Fairfax Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Sensei sponsors the CASA’s Run for the Children every year.

Sensei Enterprises continues our tradition of supporting local communities throughout the pandemic. We seek out innovative ways to share our knowledge, time and resources during a time of great need.

Co-founder Sharon Nelson, Co-founder John Simek and President and CEO Mike Maschke donated countless articles and educational webinars to bar associations across the country to help educate people on security-related threats, particularly those arising from a work-from-home world.
