As We Struggle to Keep Up with Tech Competence, Bob Ambrogi to the Rescue!

June 20, 2018

It is always a pleasure to salute the good work of my friend Bob Ambrogi. I was delighted to see on June 18th that Bob has created a new page for tracking the states that have adopted the duty of technology competence for lawyers. Candid as always, he acknowledges that the old page became messy and unwieldy over time.

The new page features:

  • The full list of states that have adopted ABA Model Rule 1.1, Comment 8.
  • A clickable map that takes you to more information for each state that has adopted the rule.
  • Other resources for further reading on the duty of technology competence.

I love the new page. Bob welcomes input from anyone who might know of a state he has missed or who might have suggestions for his new page. Bravo Bob!
