Breakdancing Thief Steals Law Firm's Laptop

January 14, 2019

Just when you think you've seen it all, up pops a story from May 2018 that I missed.

David Seale, a resident of California, was arrested and charged with commercial burglary after he broke into a Fresno office building, did a little celebratory breakdancing and left with a laptop stolen from a law firm.

According to the story from Daily News, surveillance video shows Seale in the lobby of the law firm on May 6, 2018 after he used keys to get through the locked door while the office was closed for the weekend. Fresno Police shared the video online.

Seale was also seen entering an office suite with a key and walking out with the stolen laptop, police said. The office keys found in Seale's possession were copies and not originals, and it was not immediately clear how he obtained them, police said.

So how's your key security?

Hat tip to Dave Ries.
