Ouch! Lessons Learned from the Morgan Lewis Redaction Disaster

John and I had the pleasure of interviewing Christine Musil, the Director of Marketing for Informative Graphics, on our most recent Digital Detectives podcast. In the Morgan Lewis redaction disaster, the firm accidentally filed with the court an exhibit that contained unredacted information - information its client had spent a lot of time and money to protect from disclosure.
Christine talks about the most common redaction mistakes and how to avoid them, the importance of naming conventions and process checking in redaction, as well as the benefits and possible pitfalls of electronic redaction.
You would think law firms would have this topic well in hand by now, but apparently not!
