RAMPING UP FOR ABA TECHSHOW

April 1, 2009

Through the power of Web 2.0, I suspect John and I will meet more folks than ever before at ABA TECHSHOW – a very pleasant thought.

Though John is a certified forensic technologist, he is often pulled over to the Enterprise IT (formerly known as Advanced IT) track because of his IT skills. So this year his sessions are:

Thursday, 8:30-9:30 – Security: Hardening Data in an Age of Cyber Warfare (co-presenter Lincoln Mead)

Thursday, 11:00-12:00 – Migrating to Vista: Necessary Trip or Dangerous Detour? (co-presenter Barron Henley)

My sessions are:

Friday, 8:30-9:30 - E-Discovery for the Rest of Us: What You Need to Know, Now! (co-presenter Dominic Jaar)

Saturday, 9:45-10:45 – Capturing Quicksilver: Records Management for All That Other Stuff (co-presenter Peg Duncan)

As much as possible, we'll be attending other sessions to learn along with everyone else – and, as always, we'll be hopelessly conflicted about what sessions to attend.

We'll be at the TECHSHOW After Dark reception Thursday and will also be hosting one of the "Taste of TECHSHOW" dinners on Friday night, where we'll be discussing how to save money in e-discovery. Sign up for any of these speaker-hosted dinners at the TECHSHOW concierge booth.

We're looking forward to seeing many friends, old and new, in the Windy City!
