DIGITAL EDGE PODCAST RELEASED BY LEGAL TALK NETWORK: “LAWYER SCAMS AND HOW TO AVOID THEM”

Sharon Nelson and Jim Calloway are the hosts of recently released The Digital Edge podcast titled, “Lawyer Scams and How to Avoid Them”.  This edition of the Legal Talk Network podcast discusses the topic of check fraud with expert Dan Pinnington.  Find out how attorneys are being targeted with scams that appear valid to the law firm such as collecting a debt or handling an estate transaction.  Another scam mentioned involves emails with attachments (carrying malware) purporting to be from courts of law firms regarding court hearings.  The fraudsters will go to great lengths to use practices that seem real, so find out what you can do to protect your practice and firm from these types of fraud.
