LATEST EDITION OF DIGITAL DETECTIVES HIGHLIGHTED IN “LAW TECHNOLOGY TODAY”

The December 20, 2013 issue of Law Technology Today highlighted the latest episode of the Digital Detectives podcast entitled “Data Breaches in the Healthcare Industry: Lessons for Law Firms”. Hosts Sharon Nelson and John Simek invited Alan Goldberg to discuss the typical causes of a data breach, and the consequences and prevention of a breach. He began by emphasizing the colossal cost of a data breach to the healthcare industry. He explained that the minimum cost is $100,000 and has the potential to amount to millions.
