Sensei Continues 25th Anniversary Celebration with Donation to Fairfax CASA

Sensei continues to celebrate our 25th Anniversary this year with a recent donation to Fairfax CASA.
Fairfax CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children) is an organization that is very near and dear to Sensei officers Sharon Nelson and John Simek’s hearts because they served as CASAs for five years. John is also serves on their Board of Directors.
“Fairfax CASA, a 501(c)(3) public charity, recruits and trains citizen volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are under the court’s protection in Fairfax County. Nicknamed “the eyes and ears of the judge,” CASA volunteers help ensure that these vulnerable children are placed in safe, permanent, and loving homes as quickly as possible.”
Fairfax CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supervises local citizens who become volunteer advocates. CASA volunteers make an immediate and critical impact in the lives of abused and neglected children.
