Sensei Donates to VBA Pro Bono Auction

Sensei was happy to make a donation to the Virginia Bar Association Pro Bono Auction!
About the Pro Bono Auction: The Pro Bono Auction provides funding for the APIL Scholarship Program. This program awards students a stipend to cover basic expenses while they work in unpaid public interest positions.
This year, we are hosting the 20th Annual Pro Bono Society Auction on Thursday, April 5th 2018. The Pro Bono Society Auction is a popular event widely attended by current students, faculty, alumni, and members of the metropolitan Washington D.C. community. It is an exciting event and an excellent source of publicity for our donors.
With the help of funds raised by last year’s Pro Bono Society Auction, Scholarship Recipients provided the following services:
  • Providing legal assistance for individuals with disabilities
  • Assisting in the representation of indigent criminal defendants
  • Helping needy families resolve custody disputes
  • Providing support for low-income housing and community development projects
