Sensei Officers Help Lawyers Utilize Technology In The Fairfax Courts
December 7, 2021
Sensei’s Sharon Nelson, John Simek and Michael Maschke have played a vital role over the years in helping educate lawyers understand the importance and use of technology in the Fairfax Courts.
“The Evolving Technology in the Fairfax Courts” CLE is hosted biannually by the Fairfax Bar Association in the fall and spring. During the CLE, lawyers hear directly from the judges about technology in their respective courts, how court practices and procedures have changed in the last few months, and best practices for litigators in these challenging times. The CLE provides an overview of the technology updates in the courtrooms, how to reserve the high‐tech courtrooms, the use of Cisco Webex in the courtrooms, and other video conferencing platforms. The lawyers walk away with a better understanding of the different platforms and tips and tricks to maintain security and connectivity while using them.
Thanks to Dave Bartee, Director of the Court Technology, Andrew Kassick, IT Manager, and Kit Terrell, Court Technology Officer who help bridge the court technology gap for lawyers.
The insight from the judges is invaluable and we are grateful for their time and dedicated to improving the legal profession.
Please check the Fairfax Bar Association’s event calendar in March 2022 for the next CLE in the spring of 2022.
