The American Bar Association’s Your ABA e-News for Members quoted Sensei’s Vice President, John Simek, in a column entitled Pleading Ignorance is not Protection Against Client Data Loss, say ABA Panelists. Simek and David Ries of Thorp Reed & Armstrong LLP presented “Locked Down: Security in Using Cloud Services and Mobile Devices” at the 2013 Midyear Meeting in Dallas, TX. “Pleading ignorance won’t work,” Simek said. “Competence requires understanding the benefits and risks associated with the relevant technology.
