Small law firms need cybersecurity protection as much as large firms do, because they are also high-value targets for cybercriminals seeking sensitive client information, according to attorneys and security consultants.

According to the American Bar Association’s 2021 TechReport on cybersecurity, 17% of solo practitioners and firms with two to nine attorneys and 35%of firms with 10 to 49 lawyers have already experienced a data breach.
