Add Email Signature for Gmail

October 19, 2020

Email signatures are a must to identify relevant contact information about you. A lot of people use Outlook as their email client, but many also use Gmail through a browser. Want to know how to add an email signature in Gmail? TechViral has the step-by-step instructions on how to do it. Here's the summary.

  1. Login to your Gmail account
  2. Click on the 'Settings' button
  3. Click on 'See all settings'
  4. Scroll down to the 'Signature' option
  5. Click on the 'Create new' button
  6. Enter the data for the signature
  7. Select what you want for the signature defaults
  8. Click the 'Save changes' button

That's it. You are now good to go. If you change your mind and want to remove the signature, go back to the settings and select 'No signature' in the default settings area.
