Apple Users Can Finally See Their Wi-Fi Password on iOS Devices

June 7, 2022

It seems like such a simple thing, but Apple users have battled sharing their Wi-Fi password with non-Apple devices. That’s because there is no way to view your Wi-Fi password if you are running iOS 15. MacRumors reported that iOS 16 will change that. “When you open up the WiFi section of the Settings app and then tap on the network you are connected to, there’s a new “Password” option. Tapping it shows you the password of that WiFi network, following authentication with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode.”

All I can say is … about time.
