Block Emails from the Entire Domain in Gmail

September 14, 2022

Fighting spam is a daily battle. Hopefully, your email security software does a decent job of blocking spam and phishing emails. You may be blocking messages from a specific address already, but other email addresses from the domain may be getting through. If you are a Gmail user, blocking messages from a specific domain is pretty simple. How-To Geek has a post with the instructions.

Essentially, you create a filter to deal with the unwanted messages. Select an email from the domain you want to block and click the three dots in the upper right corner. Click on the ‘Filter messages like this’ choice. Remove all the text to the left of the @ symbol in the from address. On the next screen, select the option to Delete and then click Create Filter. You can also click on the gear icon to get to the Gmail settings. No matter what steps you take, getting rid of unwanted emails is a small success.
